The Sting chronicles the undercover career of Colin McLaren during the operation that targeted the Griffith ‘ndrine that was being led at the time by Antonio Romeo and Ross Trimboli. New Catalogue of Photos and Mugshots
One of the researchers I work with, who runs the amazing blog I’ve previously mentioned, has shared an utterly amazing collection of pictures featuring Australian ‘ndrangetisti. There are pictures i myself have never even seen, including a shot of The Toad himself, Antonio Barbaro.
I’ll take some time to properly catalogue and organise the pictures, but for now I’ll start posting some in the Media section.

Antonio Strangio arrested in Bali
An Australian resident with links to the ‘ndrangheta was arrested in Bali on February 2nd. Antonio Strangio had been living in Adelaide since 2015, when he fled Calabria facing trafficking charges.
The Strangio ‘ndrine has a long history, based around San Luca in Reggio Calabria with affiliates around Italy and the world. The clan is perhaps best known for being embroiled in a long running feud with the Pelle-Vottari ‘ndrine, which culminated in the so-called Duisburg Massacre, in which six men were gunned down outside an Italian restaurant in Duisburg, Germany.
Antonio Strangio held dual Australian-Italian citizenship, and worked in construction in Adelaide. He was travelling on an Australian passport at the time of his arrest. A statement from the the AFP indicated that his arrest by Interpol in Bali leaves him with no legal recourse to fight extradition.
